On July 23rd, 2020, a group from the University of Zakho namely; Dr. Zahid Sami Mohammed- the Head of Psychology dept., Mr. Ivan Hasan Murad-the Director of Language Center, and Mrs. Kajeen Hussein Karo-faculty member of Psychology Dept. participated in an online workshop held by Oldenburg University. The workshop started at 11:00am and finished at 01:00pm. It is worth mentioning that five universities namely: Mosul University, Kufa University, Duhok University, Garmian University, and the University of Zakho participated in this workshop. The workshop started by a welcome session presented by Prof. Clemens Hillenbrand, the head of the department of special needs education and rehabilitation at Oldenburg University. Then, the participating universities posted their questions about the four presentations which Prof. Clemens presented and sent to them before the workshop. Later Mr. Sönke, faculty member of the department of special needs education and rehabilitation at Oldenburg University gave a presentation on "teaching children with physical impairments" followed by questions and answers about the topic. Afterwards, he gave another presentation about the evaluation of the study and research period in Oldenburg in November 2019. The study was conducted by a student at the department of special needs education and rehabilitation at Oldenburg University. 

Lastly, Prof. Clemens and Sönke discussed the plans of the project put forward for 2021 activities, workshops and meetings. Then, the workshop ended with presenting the next steps (meetings, discussions, and workshops) for 2020.
